Meet Dr. Dan / Owner

Call me Dr. Dan. I am an Alternative Healthcare Practitioner with a Masters in Sports Science and Rehabilitation, Doctorate in Chiropractic and an Acupuncture Certification from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri. Currently, I have certifications to perform an array of treatments including acupressure and cupping. I chose to get a chiropractic education to help those interested in a holistic approach to health and wellness.  

 

I am the owner of Optimum Health & Rehab LLC and built a reputation for being a leading movement specialist in our local community. It is my passion to help people and I am proud to have the opportunity to work with and support these local organizations.

 

Lyla Islas/

Clinic Coordinator

Lyla Islas is a fitness enthusiast who has been an athlete her whole life and has dedicated herself to teaching and helping other athletes grow physically and mentally. She is open minded and willing to learn how to expand her knowledge to help others lead a strong and healthy life. She is currently the Assistant Cheerleading Coach at New Mexico State University after being an athlete on the team for four years during her college career. She is also a member of the USA National Co-Ed Cheerleading team who represents the United States in world competitions. Lyla is outgoing, friendly, and driven and is always willing to help out anyone in need. Her goals are to spread her knowledge of gymnastics and cheerleading throughout Las Cruces and help the sport grow throughout the community. She also wishes to advocate for a positive outlook on alternative health care and help the community gain an understanding of what they need to do to achieve a long and healthy life.

Stephanie Kidwiler-Ballou/

Stephanie, whom is also known as 'Kidwiler Inspire', is a bubbly happy individual. She always has a smile on her face, as her favorite motto is, "The Best Make Up You Can Wear, Is Your SMILE."  She strives daily to INSPIRE and provide a positive impact to her community and whomever she comes across in her path. Stephanie is currently pursuing her career as a Certified Life Coach, Health Coach, Nutrition Coach, on top of being, a Professional Bio-hacker. She graduated from Parkland High School in 2008. Immediately following high school Stephanie also graduated from Emerald School of Nursing with her Certification in Nursing Assistant. Continuing her education in 2010 Stephanie graduated from Southwest University with her Certificate in Medical Assistant. Working with The Texas State Veterans Home, Nursing Homes and Home Health Agencies, Stephanie soon found this career path wasn't to fulfilling. See, Stephanie has a strength in which she genuinely loves people which usually leads to getting attached. In this specific field heart breaks were pretty often. In 2016 a breakthrough happened. Stephanie landed a huge opportunity working with the LARGEST Outpatient Neurofeedback Rehabilitation facility in the entire southwest, which offers many therapeutic services including Brain Mapping. Stephanie is proud to be apart of the TRS Corporate Leadership Board and the TRS Administrative Board. Stephanie is the CEO of Kidwiler Inspire and built a reputation of being a leader in her local community. I am new to the Las Cruces area and am so excited to be joining such a great team here at Optimum Health & Rehab! I am a customer service and administrative professional focusing on Public Relations. 

 

My goal is to help people become healthier physically, mentally and emotionally. I am an advocate for natural alternatives in health and wellness and making ourselves and our community better.

Lashana Maryuen is a very driven young lady, single mother of two model ready children and has a mark of all trades. Starting out in the kitchen with a Culinary Arts Associates Degree, she loves to host small gatherings with her loved ones. When life starts to get a bit hectic she takes the time to go for a ride with her horses. Her love, strength and joy is made new everyday.

Marina Ramos is a caring down to earth person who strives to be the best version of herself. From Albuquerque New Mexico and is currently a sophomore at New Mexico University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree as a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology.  This is also her second year of being on the cheer team at New Mexico State. After college she hopes to pursue a career in law enforcement.

Francia Arellano is a dedicated, hardworking and loving mother that is eager to take upon any given task. She is always willing to take risks and help others to achieve success for all. Francia is a team player with a positive outlook in every situation. Francia is also a mother to a a two-year-old baby girl, and most of her time consist on making memories with her daughter. She is currently attending Doña Ana Community College in Las Cruces with her focus to become a nurse. Her passion to help others is unbelievable. Francia wants to continue and focus on her goal to become a nurse to provide effective care for others.

Graduate of Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Florida B.A. Human Development - interdisciplinary degree covering psychology, anthropology, ethics and biology. Emphasis in Mental Health. Level II Reflexologist January 2014 to Present. She enjoys hiking in the Organ Mountains, writing poetry, participating in spoken word events, playing her guitar and getting praise from her current and new clients on how they feel so much better after their sessions!

Family Nurse Practitioner

Joi Hardin APRN-CNP has been in the healthcare field for 8 wonderful years. She obtained her bachelor's as well as her Master's in Nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University. Joi uprooted her family to the desert by way of Indiana in the summer of 2019. She has experience in family practice, cardiac as well as diabetes. Joi has such a passion for integrative and complementary health that she set out to give the community something different, more options to traditional medicine. She is truly inspired each and every day as she helps improve the quality of lives for others she cares for.
