Cryoskin: A Revolution in Fatloss

Here at Optimum Health and Rehab, we always try to provide natural non-invasive treatment options to our community. On August 9th, 2019, we’ve introduced a new targeted fat loss, cellulite reducing, and anti-aging treatment called Cryoskin! We’ve received a lot of questions about this new treatment that I’ll be going over in this blog.

What is Cryoskin?

Cryoskin has three different treatment options, slimming, toning and a facial treatment for anti-aging benefits. Cryo-Slimming targets fat loss in specific part of the body, usually the stomach, legs, or arms with alternating warm-cool temperatures to induce what is called cryolypolysis (cell death). Cryo-Toning involves a similar process, minus the fat-loss. Under the cooled skin, blood vessels will start to vasodilate (open) increasing blood flow and vasoconstrict (close) which will then boost production collagen to increase the elasticity of the skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite. This is perfect for those who have lost weight and have loose skin or for those looking to reduce the appearance of cellulite. If you don’t need either body toning or slimming, the third but not least treatment option is a Cryo-facial. Like Cryo-Toning, the facial uses the process of cooling the facial skin to boost blood flow and collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Unlike most other facial treatments, Cryoskin enhances the body’s natural processes instead of putting an assortment of materials and substances onto the skin that would then be absorbed into the body.

How does it work?

It’s quite simple, the skin needs to be cooled to a temperature of -4 to +4 degrees Celsius in order to reach the point of cryolipolysis where the fat cells crystalize then burst. This process is specific to the Slimming treatment, where as toning and the facial, the skin is cooled and massaged in order to boost collagen production. For the Slimming to be most affective, staying away from sugars and carbs (pasta, rice, bread, cereals, fruit, alcohol) 2-4 hours before and after the treatment is recommended. Since sugars are an immediate energy source for fat cells, this could potentially cancel out the results of a slimming session. After the session, your body starts the process of eliminating the dead fat cells by pushing them through the lymphatic system via the liver and kidneys and out of the body in the urine.

Who is this for?

This treatment can be for anyone who is looking to lose some inches, tighten up their skin or anybody interested in the anti-aging benefits of Cryoskin. Someone doesn’t need to be looking for weight loss to try Cryoskin since there are so many benefits that come with these treatments that can be applied to most any one’s life.

Is it dangerous?

We’ve had a lot of people come to us and ask if getting this treatment is dangerous, if it has radiation, will it’ll damage the skin or if it’ll cause headaches or pain afterwards. Cryoskin is safe and even very relaxing to most people. There are however, a few restrictions to this treatment. Anybody who has a disease or infection affecting the liver and kidneys, bacterial skin infections, has a pacemaker or is pregnant should not seek out this treatment since it directly involved the liver, kidneys and direct skin contact. That being said, this treatment is still one of the safest aesthetic treatments there is out there. The only side affect that is documented is darker urine, but that’s to be expected since the fat cells will be leaving the body that way. You can rest assured that there will be no radiation mutations caused by Cryoskin and the only thing that will be damaged are those pesky fat cells, your skin and muscles will only benefit from the treatment.

How long do the results last?

On average, each person will lose ½ to 1 inch the very first session! With regular appointments (5-10 sessions) you could lose up to 4-5 inches. These results can last anywhere from a few months to indefinitely depending on your lifestyle. Lifestyles that include exercise and a well-balanced diet, the results will last substantially longer to the rest of your life verses if you lead a generally sedentary lifestyle and eat heavy carbs and fast food regularly.

In Conclusion

After seeing the result and testimonials of hundreds of people along with our own clients and the science backing up this treatment, this treatment has been exceptionally effective in aiding fat loss and cellulite reduction for 87.5% of people and 100% improvement in the quality of their skin. The results of Cryoskin speak for themselves. If you’re looking for a non-invasive, effective easy way to shed inches and get great skin, Cryoskin treatments may just be what you’re looking for.
